Junior & Senior Riders

If you have your own horse (whether owned, leased, or borrowed), then we’d love to welcome you as a Riding Member of Truganina Pony Club. If you don’t have access to your own horse, please look at our Riders Without Horses program.

As a Riding Member you’ll be able to:-

  • Attend our monthly rallies or social events
  • Participate in PCV competitions, shows and other invited events
  • Attend special events such as TPC camps
  • Work your way through the Pony Club Certificate levels
  • Hang out with a cool bunch of other horse loving people.

  • Junior Riders (up to 16 years of age)
  • Senior Riders (17 to 25 years of age)

Casual Come & Try days are available if you wish to come and see what it’s all about and meet our members prior to joining.

At Truganina Pony Club we aim to have fun whilst learning about horsemanship in a supportive team environment.

Our rallies consist of activities such as:

  • Flatwork lessons & horsemanship
  • Jumping lessons
  • Theory
  • Games
  • Specialist visiting instructors from time to time with different or unusual disciplines (such as side saddle)

Standard rally days are on the first Sunday of each month, commencing at 9.45 am and conclude around 3.00 – 3.30pm.

If COVID Restrictions prevent us meeting in person, we’ll offer an online option for members to attend.

Adult Social Riders have their own social events and rallies on different days to our standard rally days (so parents of riding members can participate). Where possible, they can also participate in our normal rallies if they check in with the DC to ensure they can be accommodated.
